To ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout the college, all communications and marketing projects must follow UTSA-approved branding guidelines.

In addition to the UTSA brand guidelines, the college has additional guidance that applies to all offices and departments to ensure that the college has a unified and cohesive brand.

Project Request and Review Process

To protect the integrity of our brand, before beginning an advertising, communications, design, or digital project in the UTSA Alvarez College of Business, please submit your request using the button below.

A member of the college communications and marketing team, will be in touch for project review and approval. The college’s communications and marketing team is available to produce marketing and communications material for Alvarez College of Business faculty and staff.

Requests should be made as far in advance of your delivery date as possible. Last-minute requests may be denied based on project load, along with the time needed for proofing, official approval and/or printing and mailing.

-Advertising: 4-6 weeks from initial request to roll-out
-Brand approval: 1-2 business days for review (not including time for revisions)
-Creative development: 4-6 weeks for large collaborative projects
-Event promotion: ideally 3-4 weeks prior to the event
-Photography and/videography: 2-3 weeks prior for events off-site or after hours; 1-2 weeks prior for events on-campus during regular work hours
-Stories and testimonials:
2-3 weeks
-Website updates: 1-2 business days
